Position Overview:
As the Operations Manager, you’ll be in charge of making sure our tours run smoothly. You’ll drive the tours, guide guests, and manage our team of guides. You’ll also help take care of the tour schedules and make sure our vehicles are ready to go. We’re looking for someone who is friendly, organized, and ready to help lead our team.
Responsibilities:
- Drive and Lead Tours: Drive our guests around Oahu, showing them the best sights and sharing interesting stories about Hawaii’s history and culture.
- Manage the Team: Help schedule our tour guides, train them, and make sure everyone is doing their best to provide a great experience for our guests.
- Take Care of Vehicles: Make sure all our vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and ready for the tours. You’ll work with the team to keep them in good shape.
- Customer Service: Make sure all our guests have a great time and take care of any questions or problems quickly and professionally.
- Organize Schedules: Plan and adjust the tour schedules to make sure everything is covered and we have enough staff to handle each tour.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a similar job, preferably in tourism or driving tours.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team of guides to make sure everything goes smoothly.
- Driving Skills: A clean driving record and experience driving vans or buses. A Hawaii Driver’s License is required.
- Knowledge of Hawaii: You should know a lot about Hawaii’s culture, history, and places to visit. Being able to talk to guests and share fun facts about Hawaii is important.
- Organizational Skills: You need to be good at keeping things organized and managing schedules and vehicles.
- Communication: Good at talking to people and making sure guests feel welcome and happy.
- Flexibility: Able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
