The Health and Safety Manager will work with plant leadership, frontline employees, and the Senior Health and Safety Manager to build and support a proactive safety culture. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, implementing effective safety programs, and serving as the primary on-site resource for health and safety initiatives. The Health and Safety Manager will act as a boots-on-the-ground partner, driving engagement and accountability at all levels of the plant while aligning with the company's overall safety strategy.
A bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field is preferred, along with 3-5 years of health and safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations, hazard assessments, and safety program implementation is essential. Experience conducting incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action development is required. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work collaboratively with plant leadership and frontline employees to drive safety initiatives. Strong organizational and communication skills are necessary, as well as the ability to train and influence employees at all levels.
