The Senior Health & Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and leading health and safety programs across all company sites. This role ensures full compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations, drives a workplace safety culture, and leads all site-level Health & Safety Managers. Operating at both a strategic and operational level, this position combines corporate oversight with direct leadership responsibilities at the manufacturing site level. The Senior Health & Safety Manager will establish company-wide safety policies, manage compliance programs, mentor safety personnel, and ensure the effective execution of all health and safety initiatives.
Corporate Health & Safety Leadership:
- Develop and execute the corporate-wide safety strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Ensure OSHA and local regulatory compliance across all facilities.
- Lead safety culture transformation efforts, driving proactive safety behaviors and risk mitigation.
Site Safety Oversight & Compliance:
- Directly oversee Health & Safety Managers at all manufacturing sites, providing guidance, mentorship, and strategic direction.
- Conduct corporate-level risk assessments, safety audits, and compliance inspections at each site.
- Develop and oversee incident investigation protocols, ensuring effective implementation of root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Training, Engagement, & Safety Culture:
- Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive safety training programs for all employees, contractors, and leadership.
- Drive employee engagement in safety initiatives and committees, ensuring frontline workers understand and commit to safety policies.
Incident Prevention & Risk Management:
- Lead the development of risk assessment tools, hazard identification systems, and corrective action processes.
- Implement proactive strategies to reduce workplace injuries, illnesses, and near misses.
- Analyze safety data and trends to develop predictive and preventative safety measures.
Bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety, Engineering, or a related field. Must have 5 years of progressive experience in safety leadership roles, with at least 3 years managing multi-site manufacturing safety programs. Extensive experience in OSHA compliance, incident prevention strategies, and risk management. Proven ability to lead and develop a safety team, driving high-performance results. Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with experience managing multiple employees across multiple sites.
Expert knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, and industry-specific safety regulations. Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising multi-site safety professionals. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive proactive risk mitigation strategies. Exceptional communication and training skills, with the ability to engage all levels of employees in safety initiatives. Experience implementing safety technology, data analytics, and performance tracking tools.

Salary : $124,000 - $160,800
