The Specifications Manager oversees and develops detailed specifications for roofing Steep Slope Commercial Sustainable Performance specifications and New Construction Sustainable Performance upgrade packages. This role ensures that products meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company quality standards.
Knowledge, Education, and Experience A bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field is required-at least five years of experience in specification management or a related role in the construction or manufacturing sector. Additional certifications in roofing or building materials are preferred. Strong teamwork skills, work ethic, and the ability to work independently or in a group with minimal supervision are desired skills. Knowledge of the building industry, particularly roofing, is desired. Ability to identify and utilize various change management strategies to overcome organizational roadblocks, achieve desired change levels, and review outcomes for effectiveness.
Experience using CAD, CAM, data analysis programs, and related software. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong organizational and management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, high-level technical skills, and strong analytical thinking.
