The Warehouse Supervisor (Night Shift) leads a dynamic team that fulfills orders to meet and exceed customer expectations. This position will foster positive working relationships with internal and external customers and respond proactively to performance concerns, discipline, employee complaints, and other matters related to employee relations.
- Monitors plant and warehouse space daily to ensure the FIFO methodology is followed for raw materials and the shipment of finished goods.
- Ensures all products are stored and handled in the most safe, clean, organized, and cost-effective method possible.
- Supervises the unloading/loading of raw and finished goods and is responsible for good communication between material suppliers, plant personnel, and customers.
Knowledge, Education, and Experience
Associate degree in business, supply chain, or related field or equivalent work experience. At least 3 years of supply chain, logistics, or transportation experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Thorough knowledge and experience with warehouse and supply chain functions. At least 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
Excellent communication and computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and G-Suite. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction and the ability to adjust workloads based on changing priorities. Ability to identify and manage conflict. Must be self-directed.
