**Domestic and Canadian Business Leader**
Summary:
This position will oversee Malco's domestic and Canadian business of Malco Automotive, Presta Marine, and Presta Automotive. The successful candidate will co-develop the sales strategy to achieve significant growth goals, execute the sales plan, and manage and develop the sales organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-own the development and execution of strategic business plans to drive branded product growth through existing and new channels and markets.
- Drive and deliver on annual sales growth goals.
- Establish and maintain solid relationships with all Malco and Presta customers.
- Lead a highly accountable, fact-based, disciplined, and process-oriented sales team.
- Drive growth with new and existing customers to achieve corporate sales objectives.
- Implement planning and metric systems for sales initiatives, brand building, pricing, and market development.
- Manage the annual sales budget, sales training, and performance metrics.
- Participate in the Proprietary Leadership team, contributing to key decisions alongside the President, Director of Marketing, Director of International Sales, and Director of Domestic Sales.
- Hold regular business review and sales staff meetings to drive results and accountability.
- Provide product demonstrations and training as necessary.
- Offer feedback to the product management team and contribute to new product ideas based on market and customer needs.
- Engage in travel and visits with key customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 5-10 years of experience in Sales Management, preferably in B2B distributor business.
- Proven track record of growing sales.
- Strong behavioral and organizational awareness.
- Ability to utilize data and facts to support opinions and comments.
- Alignment with leadership values and commitment to strengthening Malco's culture.
- Capacity to coach, develop, and grow the sales team.
- Automotive enthusiast (desirable).
Travel
50% travel in US and Canada.
