Title I
High School Credit Recovery Program
Math Teacher
(4-6 Positions)
Responsibilities:
- Provide grade level work within content area for credit recovery (approximately 64 hours)
- Grade work - share “mid - summer” report with student and caregivers ( approximately 4 hours)
- Maintain student attendance records (approximately 4 hours)
- Track student work and progress (approximately 6 hours)
- Perform other related activities as required (approximately 2 hours)
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts teacher certification in Mathematics
- Ability to relate /communicate effectively with teachers, students, parents, and administrators
- Experience working in the Malden Public Schools is preferred
- Applicants must commit to being present for each day of the program. See dates above for more info.
- ESL Licence or SEI Endorsement preferred
Duration:

- MHS Summer School Credit Recovery will run from June 30 to July 31, 2025
- Monday - Thursday, 7:45am - 12:30pm
- Total of 18 days
Salary: $37 an hour for up to 80 hours ($2,960 total)
