High School - Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Qualifications (Required):

  • Valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Successful experience as a BCBA
  • Experience modifying and implementing Positive Behavior Support Plans for students within sub-separate and inclusion classes.
  • Ability to relate /communicate effectively with teachers, students, parents, and administrators.
  • Teachers must commit to being present for each day of the program. See dates below for more info.


Qualifications (Preferred):

  • Experience working in the Malden Public Schools.
  • ESL Licensed or SEI Endorsement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Program Managers/Coordinator to plan and implement ESY Curriculum.
  • Complete planning logs for each session and maintain student attendance records.
  • Provide consultative BCBA services for students in the ESY Program.
  • Update BSP as necessary.
  • Plan and oversee the development and implementation of classroom and individual programs related to instruction using the principles of ABA for students with autism and other disabilities.
  • Collect data and prepare reports, including progress reports, for the purpose of documenting case history.
  • Perform other related activities as required by the program coordinator.

Duration:

  • Program Administration and Implementation 103 hours total to include the following:
    • Professional In-service Day (July 1) (3 hours).
    • 20 days, Monday-Thursday, from July 7– August 7 (7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.).

Salary: $37 an hour, $3,811 total (20 days/5 hrs 1 inservice/3 hours)
