Title I
High School Credit Recovery Program
Program Coordinator
(1 Position)
Responsibilities:
- Assist with hiring (approximately 10 hours)
- Oversee registration (approximately 15 hours)
- Oversee teacher/student attendance (approximately 40 hours)
- Payroll (approximately 10 hours)
- Parent communication and outreach (approximately 20 hours)
- Progress Reports - Final Grades (approximately 15 hours)
- Scheduling (approximately 15 hours)
- Communication with Administration and Counselors about student progress (approximately 10 hours)
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts teacher certification in specific content area
- Ability to relate /communicate effectively with teachers, students, parents, and administrators
- Experience working in the Malden Public Schools is preferred
- Applicants must commit to being present for each day of the program. See dates above for more info
- School Counseling, ESL Licence or SEI Endorsement preferred
- All work must be completed outside of contractual hours
Duration:
- MHS Summer School Credit Recovery will run from June 30 - July 31
- Monday - Thursday, 7:30am - 1:30pm
- MHS Summer School Credit Recovery Registration - June 16 - June 20
Salary: $37 an hour for up to 136 hours ($5,032 total)
