Job Description:   

The duties for this position will include but are not limited to:  

• Confer with clients and project managers to understand project concept and requirements.  

• Prepare and interpret Landscape and Irrigation design requirements.  

• Coordinate the arrangement of existing and proposed land features and structures.  

• Sketch and rough draft conceptual landscape designs.  

• Prepare graphic representations of proposed plans using computer-aided design software.  

• Select appropriate materials for use in landscape designs.  

• Analyze environmental reports on land conditions, such as drainage and energy usage.  

• Inspect landscape work to ensure that it adheres to original plans.  

• Seek new work through marketing; identify up-sell opportunities and showcase solutions through presentations to prospective clients.  

• Participate in and facilitate team-based engagements for the completion of projects, meeting deadlines and budgetary requirements.  

Qualifications Required

Requirements:  

• Bachelors’ Degree in Landscape Architecture preferred but not required.  

• Must have 2 years of experience in professional design and project management working with teams through all design stages from concept through construction.  

• Computer application experience in CAD, SketchUp, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Must be self-motivated, anticipate the needs of clients and projects, communicate effectively orally and in writing, work independently and on a team  

• Have a broad portfolio of construction documents and/or completed projects demonstrating abilities and experience.
