Diesel Mechanic
We are currently seeking self-motivated, experienced Diesel Mechanics for our Austin shop.
Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain gasoline and diesel engines used to power equipment such as portable saws, lawnmowers, weed eaters, blowers, and trimmers.
- Adjust points, valves, carburetors, distributors, and spark plug gaps, using feeler gauges.
- Reassemble engines after repair or maintenance work is complete.
- Record repairs made, time spent, and parts used.
- Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning and greasing parts, and tuning ignition systems.
- Must be able to work externally in a variety of different conditions
- Answer service calls promptly

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20 hourly and up DOE

Qualifications Required
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 year’s experience
- Knowledge of vehicle repair
- Experienced in electrical troubleshooting and ability to read schematics
- Understands hydraulic systems, principles, and theory
- Bilingual preferred
- Must hold a valid TX driver's license
- Must have proof of good driving history with no major incidents within the last 5 years
