Maleko Personnel is hiring a Heavy Duty Forklift Operator to work in a Lumber Yard!!
Basic Job Functions:
The basic functions of this role for the successful candidate are:
- Loading building materials and components using standard and heavy duty forklifts.
- Transporting material on unstable ground.
- Assure all parts are accounted for and properly marked and staged for loading.
- Load all material onto flatbed trailers.
- Inspect all material for damage prior to loading on trailers
- Perform pre-shift equipment inspections.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Safety is the most important part of all jobs; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead and uphold safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Perform all other duties, as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience with big/heavy duty forklifts.
Experience in operating forklift on uneven terrain.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience operating heavy machinery other than warehouse forklifts.
- Prior shipping and/or receiving experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
