What are the responsibilities and job description for the Turndown Attendant position at Malibu Beach Inn?
The Malibu Beach Inn, A luxury boutique Hotel in Malibu is seeking a qualified candidate to join our interactive team in the position of a Turndown Attendant.
The Turndown Attendant is responsible:
- Ensure occupied and vacant guestrooms are cleaned and maintained up to LQA (Leading Quality Of Assurance ) standards.
- Cleaning and resetting guest bedroom and bathroom areas
- Changing linens; making beds; turndown service
- Dusting and vacuuming of rooms
- Emptying trash
- Replenish all amenities
- Replenish stationaries
- Responding to requests via Alice
- Being courteous and helpful to Hotel guests, including reporting any guest requests or preferences
- Recognize and report all missing, damaged or substandard furniture, fixtures and equipment
- Must be physically able to lift more than 10lbs, bend and stand on their feet for prolonged periods of time
- Fulfilling special requests such as: sofa bed, crib, mini fridge.
- Maintenance calls such as: battery replacement on fireplace or alarm clocks.
- Completing assigned tasks in a timely manner as outlined by supervisors
*Hotel experience is a must
*NO phone calls
*Must be flexible to work any day of the week. Weekends and Holidays are a must.
*Hours are based on the business needs
