Education and/or Experience: 4 year degree in manufacturing, mechanical, industrial, or electrical engineering; 3 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers. Ability to lead cross functional teams.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Other Qualifications: Ability to use MS Office and CAD Systems; Proven ability to lead Kaizen events;

- Evaluate and revise processes to generate cost savings and improve safety, equipment reliability, product quality and throughput efficiency.
- Maintain and program Komax machines using production level CAD/Microsoft Office skills.
- Maintain and improve Komax scheduling system.
- Lead improvement projects based on internal quality and customer feedback.
- Design, evaluate, and improve process flow throughout manufacturing.
- Research, develop, and implement new processes, equipment, and procedures for manufacturing.
- Develop, justify, and implement capital expenditure projects from concept to completion.
- Document and update work instructions, standard operating procedures and time observations of production processes.
- Lead new product integration into manufacturing operations.
- Lead and mentor production supervisors and employees to solve quality issues and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead and participate in Continuous Improvement Events (Kaizen Events).
- Lead 5S efforts for all of Malibu Electronics.
- Participate in quality audits and production startup meetings.
- Participate in design reviews to improve product manufacturability.
- Other duties may be assigned.
