**Role Overview:**

As a Host/Hostess at Malibu Farm, you will be the first and last impression our guests have, ensuring that their time with us is exceptional from start to finish. You will be responsible for managing the front-of-house operations, handling reservations, accommodating special requests, and orchestrating the flow of guests to create a seamless dining experience.

**Responsibilities:**

- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere that aligns with the Malibu Farm experience.

- Manage the RESY reservation system efficiently, answering incoming phone calls, and recording reservations accurately.

- Seat guests in a manner that optimizes server availability and workload while accommodating any special seating requests.

- Maintain a waitlist, record guest information, and provide estimated wait times with clear communication to manage guest expectations.

- Regularly inspect and ensure proper presentation of tables, paying attention to detail and cleanliness.

- Collaborate with servers and other team members to ensure a smooth and coordinated guest experience.

- Assist in coordinating private events, parties, and group reservations, ensuring their needs are met and the experience is memorable.

- Bid farewell to guests with genuine appreciation, inviting them to return and share their feedback.

**Qualifications:**

- Customer-focused attitude with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to remain calm and composed in fast-paced, high-pressure situations.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage reservations and seating efficiently.

- Professional and welcoming demeanor, creating a positive first impression for guests.

- Familiarity with restaurant reservation systems and basic computer skills.

- Previous experience in a hospitality, restaurant, or customer service role is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
