Position Overview:
The Human Resources Assistant will play a key role in supporting the HR department by assisting with daily administrative tasks, employee relations, recruitment, and compliance activities. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and has a passion for helping others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Help facilitate employee orientations and training sessions.
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Support HR Manager in managing employee benefits, compensation, and performance management.
- Ensure timekeeping systems are accurate.
- Help ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Respond to employee inquiries and assist in resolving HR-related issues.
- Assist in planning and executing company events and team-building activities.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is a plus).
- Prior experience in HR or administrative support is recommended.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- A positive, energetic attitude and a desire to work in a family-oriented, customer-focused environment.
Work Hours:
This is a hourly position with flexible scheduling. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the needs of the business.
