What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Manager position at Malin?
Malin's Parts Manager are an integral part of our parts operation. The successful person in this role will be an energetic self-starter with the ability to see when things need to be done and foresee any issues that may arise. You'll work on a great team that processes inquiries and order requests for parts and materials, mostly through email. You'll work with our external customers and technicians to ensure their parts are received as soon as you can get them.
Essential Functions :
- Previous experience working with parts ID numbers and manuals
- Minimum of 2-3 years working customer service, preferably in parts retail or parts distribution setting
- Ships and receives parts and materials
- Maintains accurate stock records so inventories are current, accurate, properly labeled and located.
- Processes all internal / external customer order with accuracy and in a timely manner.
- Performs all receiving requirements, including proper routing of associated paperwork.
- Restocks all products accurately in a timely manner (weekly stock orders and daily transfers).
- Pulls orders for both internal and external customers.
- Maintains consumable stock and document usage.
- Processes all internal rebuild part orders.
- Supervise parts delivery to customers.
- Operate forklift safely.
- Customer service for all walk-in customers.

Qualifications and Requirements :
Education and Experience
Microsoft experience
High school graduate or equivalent
Knowledgeable in safety standards and proper personal protection equipment usage within a distribution or warehouse area
