ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Diagnose, trouble-shoot and repair forklifts and other assigned equipment in accordance with established guidelines and procedures while maintaining positive customer relations.
- Conduct routine and special inspections as required.
- Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins and other specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
- Maintain repair logs, documenting all preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Account for all parts, materials, tools and consumables used as required.

Physical Requirements
Climbing, stopping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing and repetitive motions. Heavy work, exerting up to 100 pound of force occasionally, and / or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and / or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Required to have visual acuity to perform an activity such as : operating machines where the seeing job is at or within arm's reach; performing mechanical or skilled trade tasks of a non-repetitive nature. Subjected to inside and outside environmental conditions, noise, vibration, oils, atmospheric conditions and a variety of physical activities such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current or exposure to chemicals.
