Role Summary
We’re seeking a motivated, customer-focused Part-Time Assistant Store Manager to join our North Canton retail team. In this role, you’ll support the Store Manager with daily operations, team leadership, and customer service — all while helping to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere in our candy and ice cream store. Ideal candidates thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and enjoy being part of a fun, hardworking team.
Key Responsibilities
Store Operations
Assist with opening and closing the store.
Support daily operations, including restocking, merchandising, and maintaining store cleanliness.
Help manage inventory and ensure products are fresh and attractively presented.
Team Support
Help train and guide team members to ensure consistent service and productivity.
Foster a positive, team-oriented atmosphere focused on shared success.
Assist with scheduling and shift coverage, ensuring adequate staffing during peak times.
Customer Experience
Deliver outstanding service that reflects Malley’s values and brand.
Respond to customer needs, questions, and concerns with professionalism and care.
Support in-store promotions, seasonal features, and special events.
Sales & Merchandising
Assist in achieving sales goals by promoting products, upselling, and creating engaging displays.
Monitor store performance and contribute ideas to improve results.
Qualifications
1–2 years of retail experience preferred; management or keyholder experience a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Dependable, flexible, and comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Enthusiastic about chocolate, customer service, and teamwork.
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a dynamic environment.
