What are the responsibilities and job description for the Domestic Coordinator position at Mallory Alexander International Logistics?
Essential Duties:
- Enter customer orders into system with all load specifics: Shipper, consignee, third party bill to, pickup date, delivery date, reference numbers, number of CTNS, approximate weight, etc.
- Schedule pick up against ship dates and ready dates
- Secure and dispatch carriers within costing expectations, record actual carrier cost
- Coordinate trans-loading of shipments moving into warehouses
- Update orders with actual loaded details, containers, weight, pcs, seals, etc.
- Track and record shipment events from pickup through delivery and add notes on exceptions
- Update appropriate offices and customers during pickup and deliveries
- Process shipment invoicing according to the customer’s billing requirements
- Develop reports, customer reports, using Excel.
- Resolve payable and invoice discrepancies
- Ensure operational execution and performance in meeting customer and company goals and requirements
- Crosstrain and support all functions within the department
- Execute orders and document all processes following ISO guidelines
- Maintain a clean and orderly workplace and always represent the company in an appropriate and professional manner.
- Assist with inventory counts, labeling freight and handling boxes up to 20lbs as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or similar field preferred.
- Must be bilingual English/Spanish
- Must have advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Pay Range: $50,000 - $65,000. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills and experience.
This position is in office (not remote or hybrid), Monday through Friday.
