What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gynecological Care Provider position at Mallory Community Health Center?
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services for all ages in a primary medical care clinic setting.
- Perform minor outpatient procedures in accordance with the scope of practice and privileging policy.
- Consult with clinic physicians, specialists, or other healthcare professionals as appropriate.
- Verify and document that the patient understands diagnosis, treatment and follow-up recommendations as required by uniform data system, meaningful use and patient centered medical home standards.
- Dispense medications in accordance with State of Mississippi Pharmacy Board policies.
- Assist with meeting clinic patient care team productivity and quality care standards.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited School of Medicine or Osteopathy
- Completion of an accredited residency program in area of practice (Obstetrics/Gynecology)
- Board eligible/Board certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA)
- Active DEA controlled substances registration
