Mallory is looking for a Key Account Manager to join our growing team in Savannah!
This is an exciting opportunity to join the sales team of a winning company that’s more than quadrupled in size over the last 10 years. In this position, you will work closely with a large automotive manufacturer in the area. We are looking for someone who is motivated, eager, and energized by solution-based sales. This role is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in serving their customers, thinks outside of the box, and is looking to advance their career and build relationships in the industry.
Key Account Manager Job Duties:
- Builds and nurtures strong, long-term relationships with the assigned key customer to understand their needs, challenges, and business objectives.
- Develops strategies to grow the account by identifying opportunities to expand product and service offerings within the customer organization.
- Collaborates with internal teams to customize solutions and deliver exceptional service that aligns with the customer's expectations and goals.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for the customer, ensuring consistent communication and prompt resolution of any issues or concerns.
- Conducts regular business reviews with the customer to discuss performance, explore new opportunities, and ensure alignment on objectives.
- Monitors and analyzes customer data to identify trends, provide actionable insights, and recommend improvements or new initiatives.
- Works cross-functionally to coordinate efforts across departments (e.g., operations, vending, warehouse, and customer service) to meet customer requirements efficiently.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing tailored solutions, and making recommendations to internal management.
- Keeps management informed by preparing and submitting regular reports on account activity, customer insights, and progress toward goals.
- Stays informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitive activity to provide valuable insights and recommendations to the customer.
- Drives customer satisfaction and retention by consistently delivering value and demonstrating the company’s commitment to the customer’s success.

Key Account Manager Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in the safety/MRO space
- Safety and/or industrial distribution knowledge required
- Strong interpersonal communication skills across a variety of platforms
- Self-starter spirit and proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals
- Intermediate to Expert knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, CRMs, and other company software platforms
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
