Automotive Parts Manager

Malloy Ford of Alexandria is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Parts Manager to lead our parts department. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the automotive industry, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage inventory effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the parts department operations, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and distributing parts.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing waste.
• Provide exceptional customer service to both internal (technicians) and external (retail) customers.
• Train and supervise parts counter staff.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve parts department efficiency and profitability.
• Maintain accurate records of all parts transactions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and industry regulations.
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Automotive Parts Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
• Experience with automotive parts ordering and inventory management software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ford Experience is a plus.
• Reynolds Ignite Experience is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
