Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Advisor to join our dynamic team at a leading Dealership. As a key member of our service department, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support. Duties:
- Manage the flow of work for the service department, ensuring that all service requests are prioritized and completed in a timely manner.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any issues and recommend necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Collaborate with the service team to diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, including those related to diesel engines and suspension systems.
- Develop a deep understanding of the dealership's inventory and pricing to provide accurate information to customers.
- Utilize automotive diagnostics to identify potential problems before they become major issues.
- Provide customers with detailed estimates and recommendations for repairs and maintenance.
- Oversee the installation of new tires and suspension systems.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to dealership standards.
- Continuously improve service processes and procedures to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- A strong background in automotive service management and sales.
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and repair, including experience with diesel engine repair and suspension systems.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members, providing clear and concise information.
- Knowledge of automotive sales processes and the ability to upsell and cross-sell products and services.
- Experience with managing a team and providing guidance and training to new employees.
- Familiarity with dealership operations and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate's degree in a related field is preferred.
- Must be able to transmit information accurately and effectively.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more, as needed.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong mechanical skills and the ability to work on a variety of vehicles.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
