Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Acute Care
Location: Rochester, NY
Job Type: Contract (13 weeks)
Shift: Rotating (Day/Night), 36 hours/week, every other weekend & holiday required
Job Description:
We are seeking experienced LPNs with acute care hospital experience for a dynamic role in Rochester, NY. This is not an LTC position, and candidates must be able to take their own assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Provide direct patient care in a hospital setting
✅ Float to MedSurg/Tele units as needed (ICU/ER for MedSurg-level patients)
✅ Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
✅ Expected to work every other weekend and holiday
Requirements:
🔹 1-2 years of acute care hospital experience required
🔹 Active LPN license in NY
🔹 AHA BLS certification required
🔹 Local candidates accepted
Additional Details:
📌 8 hours of non-billable orientation
📌 Facility may call off up to 3 shifts per contract (2 shifts for contracts <13 weeks)
