About the Role
This is a contract position that requires 100% on-site work in McHenry, Illinois. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering, as well as experience in test engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with project design teams to develop and execute verification plans.
- Design and implement custom tests for mechanical, electro-mechanical, and software components.
- Conduct product performance tests, including environmental and durability testing.
- Manage test data and documentation, including lab databases and test reports.
- Develop and maintain test protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address product gaps.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum five years' experience in test engineering, preferably in a regulated industry.
- Experience with electro-mechanical and software product testing.
- Familiarity with quality management systems, regulations, and test standards relevant to global medical device development.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
