SENIOR TAX ACCOUNTANT II
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
- Direct Hire
- Salary range: $90,000 - $112,000 (OT at straight time)
- Hybrid schedule - Core hours 8am - 5pm, flexible, 7-4 or 9-6, much flexibility. (A minimum of 2 days a week in the office is required on Tuesday & Thursdays).

CORE COMPENTENCIES DESIRED:
TAX LIABILITIES: Preparing, planning and providing advisory support to individual and business to ensure compliance with tax laws and optimize tax liabilities.
- Conducts detailed reviews on simple and normal returns and provides appropriate review notes for preparers; raises potential tax issues
- Fully researches issues and presents pertinent guidance in support of suggested alternatives
- Aims to become an expert in specialized technical knowledge and shares relevant information when appropriate
- Displays ability to do complex tax returns without supervision
- Assists others in resolving problems related to systems or software
- Researches, develops and documents complicated taxation issues
- Ensures tax returns and planning recommendations are prepared in accordance with professional and firm standards
- Seeks opportunities to review preparation of income tax provisions
- Assists with implementation of new tax law and regulations
- Demonstrates proficient knowledge and implementation practices of technical changes and new standards as they are released
- Demonstrates an understanding of tax needs of client, including review of organizational structure and any/all other entities held by the organization which could be impacted by this work
