Supervisor Responsibilities :
Ability to stand for full shiftAbility to walk for long periods of timeAbility to lift up to 40lbsAbility to read and write EnglishPlan and schedule personnel in cooperation with the Production Manager (i.e. vacation, temporary workers, overtime work).Provide production expectations and quality feedback to team members in daily start up meeting.Monitor daily established production requirements throughout the shift to ensure customer requirements and plant objectives are met while ensuring HSE and 5S policies and standards are followed.Train and monitor employee performance to ensure operator is certified and operator training matrix is updated and meeting departmental targets.Compile KPI data and populate end of shift report. Distribute to manager and appropriate operations and support personnel.Ensure job training and daily job rotations are in place and enforcedEnsure compliance of the UAW contract, team member handbook, safety guidelines, all rules, programs and procedures that pertain to production team members.
Monitor quality of product throughout the production process.Participates in Team Leader meetings and Quality initiatives.Daily review of process and people to identify and implement CI opportunities.Supervisor Requirements :
Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background checkMandatory overtime requiredMust be High School Graduate or EquivalentManagement Experience in Light Industrial Work EnvironmentMust have 3-5 minimum years of experience with ProductionMust have 1-3 minimum years of experience within automotive industryMust be willing to travel and work at customer sitesMust have excellent computer literacy, oral communication skills, and strong team building and people management skills.Must be willing to wear required PPEAdditional Supervisor Requirements :
