Malouf is seeking an experienced Front End Web Developer to add to their growing in-house team. We are looking for someone with previous web experience (2 years) that can take the primary role of creating and maintaining several websites. Personal problem-solving, initiative-taking, and a collaborative mindset with minimal oversight are key to being successful at Malouf. This designer will work primarily on web design but will occasionally be asked to help on other digital marketing and print materials.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Execute all web design stages from research and wireframing to final designs and audits. Projects may include but are not limited to :
Full site designs
Landing page designsApp designsSite audits and maintenanceCreate sitemaps, wireframes, and interactive prototypes to communicate ideasCollaborate with developers, copywriters, and marketers to create products that are user-friendly; work directly with photo and video teams to develop contentOffer creative input and ideas within the design team and across departments
Execute a variety of visual styles across many different brandsWork closely with the Online Marketing Manager and Marketing Coordinator to execute campaigns that increase sales and strengthen the brand across touchpointsQualifications and Skills :
REQUIRED :
Solid understanding of responsive web design and visual layout with a strong portfolio (portfolio link or attachment preferred with application)Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, knowledge of other web design and prototyping programs a plusSensitivity to usability and user interactionsAble to manage multiple priorities and demands in a quick moving environmentPositive attitude and a team-building mindsetEffectively communicate and collaborate with your teammatesOpen to changes in team roles and structure due to fast company growthThirst to learn about new tools, web protocols, and standardsExperience with Shopify is a mustPREFERRED :
