This includes data entry and maintenance of department databases and documentation and recordkeeping, provide database reports, assistance with online presence and website upkeep and assisting the Director, as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of the DonorPerfect database.
- Manage daily gift entry into the DonorPerfect database from all Malta House giving channels.
- Coordinate with Development and Finance staff to ensure appropriate gift allocation and data entry for all gift types.
- Handle registrations, including financial aspects, for special events.
- Create and maintain online donation landing pages for both appeal and community-sponsored fundraising appeals.
- Maintain digital filing system and record-keeping for all donor solicitations, correspondence, and acknowledgments.
- Maintain and produce all acknowledgements, both financial and in-kind, on a daily basis.
- Provide administrative support and database reporting for foundation relations, major gifts, special events, record keeping, and other
- Provide direct phone and in-person support to donors.
- Manage volunteers in the delivery of all task areas above, pursuant to donor confidentiality policies.
- Maintain current documentation for the position’s processes and procedures.
- Assist in keeping the development/event website pages current and schedule community initiative posts on social media pages.
Event, Parish, School, and Community Outreach Responsibilities
- Assist with all Malta House events including working with Development Team on fundraising initiatives for all events including
- Work with event venues in conjunction with the Development team.
- Assist and attend, when needed, parish speaking, second collections, school “dress down days,” etc.
- Oversee monthly “Hope for Life” tours. Responsibilities include managing tour sign-up forms, confirming attendees, and closing tour
- Prospect and commit businesses and groups to hold community fundraisers and assist with overall planning of successful
- Perform any other additional tasks or assignments as needed.
Skills:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail.
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, mail merges, and internet/email.
- Database management experience preferred, preferably with DonorPerfect.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, discretion in managing confidential data, and a professional and positive demeanor.
- Demonstrated flexibility, eagerness to learn, and ask clarifying questions.
