- Working and maintaining client cases in Case Management Software
- Preparing and sending letters of representation
- Obtaining police reports/incident reports
- Obtaining driver records
- Obtaining cell phone records
- Handling property damage claims
- Making Open Records Requests for reports, dash cam and body camera videos from law enforcement
- Verifying insurance and setting up liability, personal injury protection, uninsured/underinsured and health insurance claims
- Sending out Preservation Notices to adverse carriers and defendants
- Setting up inspections, if needed
- Drafting client correspondence
- Communicating with clients to determine medical provider information
- Maintaining client contact to determine treatment status
- Obtaining a health insurance or Medicaid/Medicare statement of payments made on behalf of the client and making sure they relate to the accident
- Obtaining lien or subrogation information and updating Case Management Software
- Preparing demand letters for liability, personal injury protection and uninsured/underinsured
- Assisting with follow up calls to adjusters
- Scheduling regular monthly file reviews with attorneys
- Preparing settlement breakdowns
- Assisting with obtaining reductions
- Assist the Paralegal and Attorney
- Prepare Binders with Discovery materials
- Prepare Binders in preparation for a hearing, deposition, or mediation
- Properly disposing of confidential materials
- Saving and adding invoices to expenses in case management software
- Saving E-filings and E-service files and posting them on case management software
- Strong analytical skills
- Power user of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat Professional
- Familiarity with Case Management software a plus
- Organized
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Speak Spanish
- Minimum 2 years of experience in personal injury law
