Job Overview:
Maluliku General Contracting is looking for a skilled and reliable Handyman to provide maintenance and repair services across multiple facilities throughout the state. This role requires versatility across multiple trades, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and general repairs. The ideal candidate is a self-sufficient problem solver with the ability to diagnose and address a wide range of maintenance issues efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general repairs and maintenance, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, landscaping, and minor HVAC work.
- Travel to various locations across the state to service multiple facilities.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all job sites.
- Communicate effectively with facility managers and team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to company and industry standards.
- Keep records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on tasks.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in general construction, facility maintenance, or related trades.
- Proficiency in multiple trades, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, landscaping, and minor HVAC work.
- Must have own tools necessary to perform a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks.
- Ability to work independently and manage a schedule of multiple service locations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable transportation to travel between job sites.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in plumbing, electrical, or HVAC are a plus.
- Experience managing work orders and documentation for facility maintenance.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
