Malvern Treatment Centers is currently seeking a full time Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician maintains the building and grounds of campus. Schedule will rotate to include some weekends. This position is a full time opportunity and provides a competitive compensation and benefits package.
Summary of Essential Position Functions:
Helps to perform electrical work according to code and as required. Helps to perform plumbing work according to code and as required. Prepares areas for painting, paints neatly, and cleans up after. Conducts safety checks on patients appliances. Maintains an inventory of needed supplies. Does electrical checks and documents same as scheduled. Interacts with patients in appropriate manner. Follows directions on cleaning supplies and equipment. Follows regularly assigned schedules. Helps prepare for special events. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must have a valid Drivers License. Must meet requirements of the Companys Fleet Policy based on Motor Vehicle Report and clearance to operate company vehicles.
Education and/or Experience:
Minimum of two years experience in a similar position.
Technical/Computer Skills: Plumbing, electrical and general handyman skills.
Work Environment and Hazards: Will require work outdoors. Some hazardous climbing, reaching, pushing and pulling.
Physical Requirements: Lifting up to 50 lbs. With frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 lbs. A significant degree of walking and standing. Reaching, handling, and manual dexterity required.
Travel Required: Up to 25%
