Daycare Substitute

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Daycare Substitute to provide support when our regular staff members are unavailable due to illness or vacation. This is an as-needed, part-time position with a focus on ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children aged 6 months to 5 years.

The ideal candidate should have experience working with young children, a strong understanding of early childhood education, and the flexibility to step in when needed. If you are passionate about childcare and looking for a flexible role, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in supervising and engaging children in age-appropriate activities.
• Support daily routines, including breakfast, lunch snack time, education, playtime, and cleanup.
• Ensure a safe and caring environment for all children.
• Follow daycare policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with staff and maintain a positive atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• Experience or education in early childhood education, childcare, or related fields is preferred. (preferred).
• Previous experience as a nanny, preschool teacher, or daycare worker is a plus.
• Flexibility to work on short notice when needed.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Completed background/Fingerprint check, Medical Evaluation.
• Knowledge of toddler care practices, including infant care techniques.
