As FS Food Group continues to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and passionate Sous Chef to support and innovate within our Italian brands, especially focusing on Little Mama’s Italian Kitchen. Sous Chef Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring the culinary standards that made Mama Ricotta’s a beloved brand are maintained and extended to Little Mama’s Italian Kitchen.
- Lead kitchen staff in crafting dishes that reflect the authentic Italian-American flavors our customers expect.
- Support menu development and execution, ensuring each dish meets our high standards for quality and innovation.
- Mentor and train kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence, learning, and enthusiasm.
- Manage food ordering, inventory, and kitchen equipment, maintaining operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Uphold and enhance safety and sanitation protocols.
Sous Chef Qualifications:
- Proven culinary experience, particularly in high-volume Italian-American or Italian cuisine settings.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage kitchen staff effectively.
- Strong foundation in Italian cooking techniques and a passion for culinary excellence.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
