Teaching Assistant CertificationRESPONSIBILITIES: Support of students' academic, emotional and behavioral needs. Ability to implement strategies and practices as directed by the special education teacher or school psychologist. Collaboration and communication with administration and staff on behalf of the student's success. Monitor the health and well-being of students. Willingness to obtain and employ Crisis Prevention and Intervention Training. Data collection and implementation of behavior plans. Other duties as assigned.PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: A professional, patient, and calm demeanor with children of all ages. Experience with children who have attentional, behavioral/emotional, and academic challenges. Ethnically, culturally and linguistically diverse candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply.
