Mambo Seafood is a high-volume iconic Houston restaurant brand that has been in business since 1996. Mambo has 12 restaurants in the Greater Houston area, 3 locations in San Antonio, and one franchised operation in the Rio Grande Valley. Mambo Seafood is poised for rapid growth!
Summary :
The Cashier is responsible for greeting customers, taking orders over the phone and in person, and answering questions that customers may have. Cashiers are responsible for processing customer payments through the Point of Sales (POS) system. Cashiers anticipate customers’ needs and exceed expectations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Must maintain a professional and welcoming attitude at work and practice the Company service principles.
- Greet all guests when they enter the restaurant.
- Communicate with customers regarding menu offerings, limited time offers, and daily specials.
- Pack and sort to-go orders.
- Enter food and beverage orders into the POS system.
- Properly process customers’ payments and provide accurate change.
- Clean and maintain cashier area before, after, and throughout shift.
- Other duties as assigned.
