Bakery Team Member - Part-time role 30 hrs/week

Mamie Colette is an artisan bakery specializing in French viennoiserie. Our mission is to bring happiness to our customers and team members, serve our community, offering experience with quality products, and choice. We were honored to be voted #1 bakery in Bucks County in 2023.

We are now hiring a bakery team member for 30 hrs/week. Mamie Colette is closed on Mondays & Tuesdays. Your working hours will be:

• 8:00am - 3:30pm, Wednesday through Saturday.

Pay based on experience.

Essential Functions: Customer Care/ Cashier/ Light Barista

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter, establish a rapport with customers and take orders
• Provide information about products, ingredients, etc...
• Prepare beverages
• Serve beverages and viennoiserie products (croissants, danish, etc...)
• Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
• Keep the service area clean and sanitized
• Track inventory of consumables, beverages and retail products
• Communicate customer feedback to manager
• Uphold Mamie Colette image and brand
• Comply with health and safety regulations
• Maintain a consistent work attendance and punctuality record
• Must be available on weekends and holidays

Skills

• Previous work experience as bar tender, cashier, barista or server/server in a bakery, restaurant, bar or food service environment
• Possess a strong sense of service, teamwork and ownership
• Has a passion for service and customer interraction
• Hands on experience with pastries, and bakery products (Preferred)
• Knowledge of sanitation regulations (Preferred - will be trained if doesn't possess)
• Ability to follow instructions
• High level of integrity
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Driver’s license (Preferred)
