Health and Safety Advisor for heavylift and transport projects

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Maintaining industry-leading SHE-Q standards across all projects.
- Liaising effectively with a range of different people and role types.
- Ensuring all employees and contractors comply with Mammoet and customer safety requirements.
- Assessing the safety of jobsite and workplace activities.
- Conducting and overseeing safety inspections and training.
- Coaching and advising on jobsite safety topics and safety regulations.
- Providing operational training and notifying line management on appropriate SHE-Q training programs
- Preparing and submitting incident reports.
- Investigating SHE-Q related incidents and determining causes, reporting and making recommendations to management.
- Executing site specific audit programs, conducting supplier assessments and reporting on SHE-Q performance and progress.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- OSHA 500 and CSST required
- Expert level experience in SHE-Q regulations. Professional level experience in SHE-Q systems, HLT equipment and MS Office suite.
- English, fluent proficient verbal and written
- Associate's degree in the Health Safety & Environment discipline or vocational education in technical discipline and 5 years of relevant experience in the field ideally
- Evidence of experience in a similar role, ideally in any/some of the following sectors: civil engineering, construction, renewables, oil and gas, offshore, ports and mining
- Experience in conducting incident investigations
- General knowledge of local and national legislation and SHE-Q regulations
- 6 years of relevant work experience
