Responsibilities for this position include:
- Oversee and coordinate all the activities of a construction site according to project blueprints and other contract documents
- Effectively communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and owners
- Perform daily quality control and safety checks
- Record and report all safety incidents
- Report all daily jobsite activities within Procore in an active and timely manner
- Maintain a neat, orderly, and safe jobsite
- Inventory and approve all building materials before installation
- Conduct on-site and virtual meetings with subcontractors and office personnel
- Conduct weekly task specific Toolbox Talks with subcontractors
- Conduct schedule updates and build lookaheads
- Maintain a clean and well-kempt personal appearance
- Bachelor’s degree with a preferred concentration in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or related field; OR at least 15-20 years of applicable experience working for a general contractor or construction manager
- 10-15 years of construction industry experience
- Ability to read, comprehend, and explain to others the details within blueprints
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- High level attention to detail with a focus on organization, cleanliness, and safety
- Punctual: on time, all the time
- OSHA 30 certified or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
