What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Specialist position at Mammoth Contracting, LLC?
About Us:
Mammoth Roofing and Solar is on a mission to become the largest roofing company in the United States. With offices in Marble Falls, Temple, Round Rock, and San Antonio, we are scaling rapidly and need a creative, results-driven individual to join our team as our first Marketing Specialist. This is a ground-floor opportunity to make a massive impact, develop a long-term career, and grow with us as we expand.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You’ll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing a wide range of marketing strategies across multiple channels. If you’re ready to prove your skills, drive results, and grow into a leadership role, this opportunity is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and execute marketing plans for key channels: billboards, radio, TV, Google, social media, email, and direct mail campaigns.
- Work with one of our Marketing Vendors to design postcard mailers and “Blitz” campaigns for key touchpoints in the customer journey.
- Establish relationships with media vendors and negotiate contracts for local advertising (billboards, radio, TV).
- Identify cost-effective media opportunities and manage the marketing budget.
- Optimize local SEO to ensure Mammoth Roofing ranks at the top of Google searches.
- Develop landing pages or coordinate development for each market (Temple, Round Rock, Marble Falls, San Antonio) with localized content to build trust and convert leads.
- Manage social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) with a focus on organic growth.
- Track key metrics: ROI on ad spend, lead conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs.
- Conduct A/B tests for ad campaigns and make data-driven adjustments to improve performance.
- Collaborate with leadership weekly to report on campaign performance and recommend adjustments.
- Work with external agencies as needed while ensuring accountability and alignment with Mammoth’s vision.
Ideal Candidate:
At Mammoth Roofing and Solar, we believe in teamwork and helping each other succeed. While marketing will be your primary focus, you may be asked to wear other hats and assist with tasks outside your specific responsibilities.
We need someone humble and flexible, who understands there’s no such thing as “not my job” here. Whether it’s helping at an event, assisting a teammate, or tackling an unexpected challenge, we’re looking for a true team player who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and contribute wherever needed. We are looking for someone with the following:
- 2 years in marketing, media buying, or digital marketing roles.
- Experience with social media management, SEO, or agency work is a plus.
- Creative thinker with strong project management skills.
- Knowledge of Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and analytics tools.
- Familiarity with marketing platforms that streamline posting and reporting.
- Energetic, driven, and aligned with Mammoth’s mission.
- Thrives in an independent role while working collaboratively with leadership.
- Humble, flexible, and willing to tackle responsibilities outside their comfort zone.
