What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Manager- Spacestation Beverages position at Mammoth Distribution?
Role Summary:
Spacestation Beverages is seeking a solid and experienced general manager to own manufacturing processes, procedures, personnel and results. This individual brings a broad skillset including: management, beverage or similar manufacturing, client relations, P&L ownership, as well as an understanding of human resources, accounting and how to manage relationships with compliance and regulators. The ideal candidate has experience leading mid-size teams and operating automated manufacturing facilities.
Critical Outcomes:
- Ensure team compliance with all safety, product quality and cleanliness standards
- Improve operational KPIs (downtime, product loss, efficiency measures, yield, accuracy, etc.)
- Foster strong relationships with key Spacestation clients
- Maintain and further build immensely strong culture among the Spacestation team
- Expand R&D functionality
Essential Responsibilities:
- Motivate team members and manage company culture
- Navigate daily operational issues to ensure daily production goals are met
- Manage manufacturing KPI’s
- Oversee production, facilities, logistics, inventory and quality teams
- Ensure proper QA / QC programs are in place within the manufacturing operations
- Ensure all staff related matters and HR responsibilities are properly handled at the facility
- Hold structured reviews, as well as provide real-time feedback and coaching to senior managers at SS
- Establish root cause analysis and corrective action plan measures
- Improve training plans SOP’s
- Establish boots on the ground on the plant floor
Competencies/Qualifications:
- Minimum – 5 years manufacturing leadership experience
- Desired – 10 years manufacturing leadership experience
- Can read and analyze P&Ls
- Able to communicate effectively with both direct reports and senior level management at Spacestation and Mammoth
- Brings a positive energy that is contagious for the staff
Physical Requirements:
- Able to work on a computer for four (4) hours daily
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Clear verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Good vision and hearing
- Able to bend, stretch, twist, turn, grasp
- Able to demonstrate ability to meet essential physical requirements with or without a reasonable accommodation
