Description
The Crane Operator will s afely operate 100 ton cranes, lifting wireline pressure control equipment, isolation tools, valves, and other items associated with oil and gas industry._
A Day in the Life of a Crane Operator : _
Safely and efficiently operate crane
Understand and assist in rigging lifting equipment
Keep up with day to day maintenance of crane, ensuring crane is kept in clean and proper working order
Perform thorough inspections of equipment and report any identified issues to onsite supervisor immediately
Additional Job Duties :
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
Education :
High school diploma or equivalent
Skills and Requirements :
2-3 years related experience
NCCCO Certification
Large Boom Telescopic Swing Cab Card
Must be able to pass physical and drug test and comply with regulations
Must be able to stand, sit, bend, or climb for long periods of time
Must have a current driver's license
Occasional stooping, kneeling, standing, and walking on uneven surfaces.
Frequent carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs.
Ability to follow directions
Ability to work irregular hours
Comply with all company policies and procedures and all health and safety policies
Work Environment :
Frequent exposure to outdoor elements including wet, humid conditions and extreme heat or cold. Exposure to oils and other materials on location. High noise level.
