Description
Position Summary: Senior Billing Analyst
The purpose of this position is to perform a range of billing and business administrative duties at an advanced operational level regarding essential support functions necessary invoicing and billing support, financial reporting and contract management.
Billing Analyst Responsibilities:
- Analyzing all billing procedures and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinating with business unit leads throughout the billing cycle.
- Preparing, issuing, and sending invoices.
- Reviewing invoices and Dynamics records to ensure billing accuracy.
- Coordinating subconsultant and vendor invoice processing
- Communicating with clients and other departments, resolving issues, and providing clarifications.
- Ensuring clients' billing accounts are set up correctly and according to their requirements.
- Coordinating with corporate accounting teams to reconcile AR/AP.
- Compiling monthly financial reports.
- Preparing reports and meeting billing deadlines.
Qualifications
Required Job Qualifications
- Education & Training:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance desired
- Experience:
- Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience as a billing analyst or similar role
- Other:
- Advanced profiency in Excel related to financials and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data entry, and accounting software programs (SAP, Dynamics 365, Quickbook, etc.).
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to perform all of the essential functions of this position.
