What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Specialist position at Mammoth Freighters LLC?
We are looking for an IT/HR assistant to join our growing team at the Alliance Airport in Fort Worth, Texas. This person is responsible for offering IT support to our onsite staff and our field offices in Florida, California, and Washington as well as remote workers. This support includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all computer assets such as computer/laptop hardware, computer software, printers, cloud systems, and network equipment. In addition, this person will be responsible for HR support in our Ft. Worth office by helping onboard new staff and offering additional HR support as needed. This assistant will report to the Director of IT and the HR Manager.
Job Responsibilities
- Update and maintain an accurate inventory of all company assets (hardware and software) for any given location and remote workforce
- Accurately document problems/tasks in the ticketing system for future reference
- Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot hardware and software
- Document issues and resolutions for internal and external Knowledge Base and/or training for end users
- Maintain/troubleshoot onsite network equipment
- Support Microsoft 365 cloud services
- Help onboard new staff
- Offer HR support to staff in the Fort Worth office
Job Skills
- Must be proficient with Windows 10/11 and Mac OS and iOS
- Must be proficient supporting Microsoft Office and Adobe products
- Must be flexible to work after hours in support of special projects
- Must be flexible to travel as needed (typically less than 5-10% travel) to field offices
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
- Microsoft cloud certifications a plus
Compensation: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
