We're seeking a Supplier Engagement Specialist Level 2 to join our growing team. This is a mid-level position responsible for managing supplier relationships, participating in strategic sourcing initiatives, and working with suppliers on performance improvement. This role involves supporting supplier engagement strategies, monitoring contractual adherence, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of suppliers into the company’s supply chain.
ORGANIZATIONAL
This position reports to the Director of Supply Chain & Logistics with “dotted-line” reporting to Senior Supplier Engagement (SE) Specialist, and functional managers of Planning, Procurement, and Logistics as key stakeholders.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Contract Compliance:
o Monitor and enforce contract compliance, including company policies and legal requirements.
o Communicate any deviations or issues promptly.
Performance Monitoring and Improvement:
o Work with SE team to create robust performance metrics and conduct regular on-site visits to ensure suppliers meet or exceed expectations.
o Collaborate with assigned suppliers and SE team to implement continuous improvement programs, driving enhancements in quality, cost, and delivery.
o Review data analytics reports to identify performance trends and areas for improvement.
Risk Management:
o Identify potential risks in assigned suppliers and help develop mitigation strategies.
o Conduct regular risk assessments and audits of assigned supplier operations.
o Ensure assigned suppliers adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
o Work closely with internal teams, including procurement, planning, quality, engineering, and operations, to ensure supplier alignment with company goals.
o Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between internal stakeholders and suppliers.
o Lead supplier review meetings and participate in cross-functional team meetings.
Innovation and Best Practices:
o Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in supplier management.
o Collaborate on innovative approaches to supplier engagement.
o Share knowledge and mentor junior team members to enhance overall team capabilities.
Supplier Management:
o Execute supplier engagement strategies to align with the company’s business objectives.
o Manage relationships with assigned suppliers, ensuring performance to quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
o Participate in the development of strategic sourcing initiatives, including the identification and onboarding of new suppliers.
JOB SKILLS

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Education: Prefer Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPSM, CSCP, PMP) is highly desirable.
Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in supplier management, strategic sourcing, or procurement, with a proven track record of managing complex supplier relationships and leading high-impact initiatives.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Travel: Regular travel may be required to visit supplier sites and attend industry events.
Work Environment: This position operates in a professional office environment with some exposure to manufacturing and production environments.
