Job Summary
We are seeking an Inventory Management Specialist to oversee inventory levels and stock control, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in inventory management to support the company’s operational goals. In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain precise inventory records and optimize stock availability.
Responsibilities
· Manage inventory levels, including setting stock thresholds and implementing low stock alerts to ensure optimal stock availability.
· Conduct regular inventory audits to verify the accuracy of inventory records and ensure alignment with physical stock.
· Coordinate with outsourced service providers to perform inventory checks and audits, ensuring compliance with company standards.
· Travel quarterly to the Eastern United States (East Coast) for on-site inventory audits at partner facilities, with potential future travel to Canada as needed.
· Monitor and analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and recommend inventory adjustments.
· Maintain organized and accurate inventory records using inventory management software for real-time tracking.
· Manage daily inventory adjustments and allocations to meet operational needs and optimize inventory levels.
· Ensure all inventory-related activities comply with safety and operational guidelines.
Qualifications
· Approximately 2 years of inventory management experience with a strong understanding of stock control and inventory processes.
· Proven ability to manage inventory records effectively, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
· Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., WMS, ERP) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel) for inventory tracking, reporting, and optimization.
· Familiarity with inventory control methods, such as First-In, First-Out (FIFO) and inventory turnover calculations.
· Experience with barcode scanning technology for inventory tracking and audits.
· Excellent organizational and communication skills to coordinate with teams and external partners.
· Strong analytical skills to monitor inventory trends and forecast demand.
· Ability to travel regularly (including internationally), adapting to varying work locations and schedules.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
