Job Description:
Mana Resources is looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSP). In this rewarding role, you will provide care, support, and guidance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting. Your efforts will help residents achieve their personal goals, gain independence, and enhance their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
*Assist residents with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Support residents in participating in community outings and recreational activities.
- Encourage skill-building in areas such as communication, social interaction, and self-care.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing living environment.
- Document and report on residents' progress, needs, and any concerns.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and team members to create and implement individualized care plans.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in caregiving, human services, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to meeting the needs of others.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- CPR/First Aid and Med Certification (Training provided).
- Valid driver’s license with reliable, insured, and registered transportation.
