Role and Responsibilities
Senior Project Manager generally consists of the following :
- Strong knowledge and electrical experience with preconstruction, construction, and close out of electrical construction projects
- Responsible for project’s lifecycle from key project estimating, preconstruction, construction and close out.
- Work directly with estimating to produce and submit detailed change order requests
- Proactive approach at being a problem solver and solution-oriented mindset with customers.
- Ensure that projects have the proper manpower, tools, equipment, and materials to complete the project in a safe and timely manner.
- Expense approval and tracking to budget.
- Issue project billings and assist with payment collection.
- Bi-weekly work in progress / invoicing reviews with accounting dept.
- Create and maintain project-related records, including contracts, change order logs, financial forecasts, and subcontracts.
- Creation and jobsite execution of project schedules
- Monitor the project financials in the company’s accounting system.
- Answer project, accounting, and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
