Manafort Brothers Incorporated has an immediate opening in their Plainville Garage for an Automotive Body/Painter Assistant/Prepper. Willing to train the right entry level candidate out of tech school. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Duties include but are not limited to:

Manafort Brothers Incorporated has an immediate opening in their Plainville Garage for an Automotive Body/Painter Assistant/Prepper. Willing to train the right entry level candidate out of tech school. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Operates and uses all body shop equipment properly and safely;
- Assists in removal of rust from metal, and grease and dirt from work surface;
- Assists in masking and protecting parts that are not to be painted or coated;
- Assists in filling cavities and dents with putty to attain smooth surface;
- May assist in mixing paint according to specifications;
- May assist in painting surface using sprayer or brush as appropriate;
- Inspects painted units for quality of workmanship, noting any runs, sags, and unpainted areas;
- Maintains tools and keeps equipment clean and in a proper state of repair;
- Keeps work area clean; and
- Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer.
